Randolph - our best number 2 keeper since...when?
Really impressed with this bloke, especially after a bit of a dodgy start. Who knows how long he will be happy in his current position, but I'd like to think he sees being in the Premier League plus playing in the cup, and going to the Euros, as a good step up so far. Plus a chance to play at the new stadium next season for a year at least. Seems like a good relationship between him and Adrian too.

I was trying to think last night though, when was the last time we had a second choice keeper of his quality? Ok, so Green was second choice for a bit but as soon as he got a chance it was clear he was going to be the number 1. Craig Forrest had his moments, but I can't think of anyone else going at least that far back - if not more so.

Can anyone else think of such a reliable number 2 in recent memory? I certainly can't.

I didn't think Craig Forrest was a bad no.2. Not as good as Randolph though.

I loved Craig Forrest but not primarily for West Ham reasons.

Adrian about 3 years I would imagine.

Shaka Hislop was 2nd choice to Roy Carroll for a while. They were 2 pretty good keepers although I think both Randolph and Adrian are better than either of the aforementioned.

Some of the threads leading up to and after the Bournemouth home game were very interesting.

Indeed, the poor fucker was written off before he'd even pulled the shirt on due to conceding so many when playing in a diabolical Birmingham defence.

Still, nothing on WHO should surprise.

Having Bernard Lama was quite entertaining for a short while. I remember him having a couple of great games and then also a few mistakes

So what happens if we make it to Wembley?

Would be a bit harsh to bench Ranfolph for Adrian, wouldn't it?

Did the same with Ogbonna, if memory serves.

Let him play and when we are 4-0 up in the final against Spurs, bring on Adrian.
